WHAT WE OFFER
Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do is a system of unarmed self-defense originating over 2000 years ago in China and then refined in both Japan, as Karate, and Korea, as Tae Kwon Do.
The Tae Kwon Do Center of Greenfield is a coeducational facility following national training guidelines for physical conditioning and self defense techniques. Children can begin training as early as six years of age. There is no upper age limit. Classes are age and gender integrated and separated only by rank.
We have been located in Greenfield for over forty years.
Our Chief Instructor, Sixth Degree Black Belt, Master David Johnson, is a former world champion and two of his students are former national title holders.
Self Defense
No-one has the right to touch you without your permission.
Learn how to get away from an attacker that is bigger and stronger than you.
Learn how to be safe.
Nautilus
Our fifteen station Nautilus facility, exercise bikes, treadmills, abdominal machine, and climbers are all free to use by any current student over the age of 15.
WHO WE ARE
Our Black Belt staff is internationally certified through the Ku Ki Won in Seoul Korea and has a combined teaching experience of over 260 years.
Our Charity Work
Greenfield Tae Kwon Do Center holds it Annual
Break-a-thon Fundraiser to benefit “Warm the Children”. Students of the Greenfield Tae Kwon Do Center will be breaking boards using hand, foot, elbow, knee, or head techniques within a 2-3 hour time period. All participating students are now soliciting donations and pledges of .10, .25, .50, and 1.00 for each board they break.
All proceeds from the Break-a-thon will be donated in their entirety to “Warm the Children”. Please call, or drop in for more information. Please join us in giving a gift of health and well being to local children.
Please make all checks payable to “Warm the Children”.
The public is welcome to the studio to watch and cheer us on as we raise money for Warm the Children. Donations for Warm the Children will also be accepted at the door on the day of the event.
